Instructions
Step 1.
You will begin with the wavy mold first. Dip the small paint brush in the light blue mica powder and paint every other wave with this color. Paint the next one in blue green, and black in between the blue layers.
Step 2.
The next coaster mold will be the one that resembles stones. With the gold mica powder and the sponge brush, paint the lines around the stone spaces. Mix some gold glitter into the clear resin. Add black mica powder to some clear resin and fill each stone space, leaving 4 spaces open for the glitter resin.
Step 3.
Add some dark blue mica powder to clear resin and pour over the wavy lines coaster. With the remaining dark blue resin, fill in the wavy lines on the empty coaster. Add white resin with a paint brush in between the blue lines.
Step 4.
Add some gold mica powder to the stand mold and paint the mold with the small paint brush. Cover the mold with some of the dark blue resin. Cover the stones mold in dark blue resin. Cover the blue and white lines with white resin, and fill in the last remaining coaster mold with pink resin to cover the colored glitter. Set the coasters aside to cure for 24 - 48 hours.
Step 5.
After the coasters have cured completely, remove them from the molds. Paint the edge of the blue and gold coaster with the gold pen. Allow to dry completely.
As a finishing touch, place each of your coasters in the display tray and take a photo for your Instagram page. You now have a lovely handmade work of art that is as functional as it is beautiful.
